In this class students will learn a variety of fusing and assembly techniques to create a Fantasy Garden panel. Each step will be demonstrated in detail and students will have a chance to combine the design elements to either duplicate the projects pictured or create their own unique design. This project uses multi-stage assembly methods and incorporates a variety of fusing components including stringers, murrini and silver foil. Some glass cutting experience is required but the project can be tailored to match the skill level of each student. Bullseye glass is used but Oceanside glass or any other glass can be used though some color changes may be necessary for some of the elements. Access to a kiln is necessary to participate actively.
A few days before the class, an email will be sent out with the Zoom link along with class handouts and any other pertinent information. If you do not receive it or experience any technical issues please contact Class@fusingclasses.com. Please keep in mind that using a desktop computer or laptop computer with a camera and microphone is ideal and recommended.
There will be a cap on the number of students participating but a waitlist will be available and if an additional date is added everyone on the list will be notified.
This class takes place in three sessions, June 21st, 2pm-3:30pm Eastern, June 28th, 2pm-3:30pm Eastern and July 12th, 2pm-3:30pm Eastern.
